Recently Introducing new flavours to our range, we sat down with Amanda Pulford, Marketing Manager at Oxygen Magazine, to give insight into behind the scenes of extending our product line. Amy, Nutritionist and Export Manager at ANS briefly explains the steps behind product development.
Q. How do you know what flavours to develop?
Amy: Extensive market research allows us to identify the flavours that our consumers would love to try, and what sensory elements in our current range are crucial to carry over into our new products. We do this by speaking to our customers and uncovering what they want, even before they know!
Q. What is your motto at ANS?
As our CEO Thomas Lashan has said, "grasping a deep understanding of our consumers has been our key priority since inception, to adapt our products to their specific nutritional needs."
Q. From Coconut to Choc-Honeycomb, you have such a variety of flavours! how do you choose the final flavour?
Amy: Extending our product line involves a lengthy trial process with the manufacturer’s Food Technologists and our Nutritionists to attain a health promoting product with the best flavour outcome possible. We test and validate formulations numerous times and ensure unbiased testing through descriptor analysis. With these processes in place we’re proud to present to you our full ANS product range.
